Meet Taylor (my niece) , I have been inspired to photograph her since her early newborn weeks. Even more now , as a high drama teen she is a total muse to work with. Since her Birthday was yesterday I’m posting a few from our candid summer photography session. It also features my husband’s antique car ‘Betty’ as we call her, who I’m really lucky to have around for days like this.
I admit to being completely charmed straight away by this little guys big brown eyes and sweet grin. Just shy of his first birthday is the perfect age! So much personality, but little mobility is quite perfect for baby portraits. So much love in this new family that I had to give a quick sneak peak of our beach session.

In a time when 30% or more of American children are growing up with absent fathers this little boy is doubly blessed. It was completely charming to watch these men being nurturing and vulnerablely in love with their new little guy.

This family is another favorite of mine , not only because I did their wedding photography many years ago, but also because I just enjoy spending time with them. I especially adore the way Miss ‘S’ may be outnumbered but refuse’s to be out-smarted. Yes, this little lady always seems to have a plan….you have to admire that.
